Magazine Genre project Research #3

For the third magazine, I chose InStyle. This magazine contains content mostly relating to celebrities style and fashion. Jennifer Aniston is shown on the September 2018 issue; her pose shows her funny personality and beauty. She is sitting down in a relaxed position with her hair in her face. She is wearing a stylish suit and a dark, smoky eye. It is only fitting that Aniston is on the cover because ever since the 90's, she has been a fashion icon. Inside, articles such as the trouble Aniston has styling her "rachel cut" (an allusion to the popular show she started in Friends) to Charlize Theron's approach to aging. The intended audience for this magazine is women ranging from ages 20-65 (any woman seeking advice in the beauty world/ interest in celebrities).
