Magazine Genre project Research #4

For the 4th magazine, I chose Shape. It is similar with the other magazines I have chosen when it comes to the topic of beauty but it mainly focuses on diet, fitness, and health. Also, the age range of readers typically stay around 16-40. Camila Mendes is on the cover of this November 2018 issue. Being a co-star in the popular teenage-driven show Riverdale, this magazine attracts more of a younger audience. She is shown in a pink, stylish workout outfit, posing on a car. Headlines are minimal; "the new wellness" and "breakthrough treatments for vibrant skin" are mentioned. Inside, there are very few ads but lots of tips on health, fitness, and skincare.
