Final Submission

I changed quite a lot on my two-page article. This is where I received the most critical feedback. With the help/ideas from my fellow classmates and teacher, I decided I needed to change the layout. This layout looks far more professional than the original. I also changed the font of "Microjuvenate"; the font gives it a more mature, yet creative look. I incorporated two more photos (with captions) to give variety to my piece and to entertain my readers. Lastly, I added the date of the issue as well as the title of my magazine. Overall, if compared to one another, this revision is far more professional and pleasing to the eye, then the original.
The feedback I received on my cover page was very minimal. Several said I needed to add more color, however, most of the skincare magazines I researched were very sleek and "colorless". I wanted to keep my color palette: white, black, grey, and pink. However, I did change a couple things. To add more sophistication, I created a border. This is something I simply forgot to do and noticed many magazines have. Also, I edited the picture a bit more, by increasing the exposure and saturation. The purpose of that was to make it a bit more lively, due to the lack of "color".
I completely changed my entire Table of Contents. I wanted it to be from the same template as my two-page article, to show uniform. Firstly, I changed the font and made "Contents" larger to add emphasis and grasp the viewer's attention. I then changed the way the picture was formatted and added a caption. I didn’t like the previous format just because it was a bit "confusing". I originally titled it "On the Cover", which isn't the case (It isn’t the cover picture). I also changed my graphic to the color red to step out of the box and my color scheme. Again, I wanted to keep things sleek and chic, while grasping the attention of consumers.
